Indian Bay Recreation Site

Free or paid (not confirmed)

This site may be free, but we couldn't confirm it. Check the official page before you go. Campground · Recreation Sites and Trails BC This is a 7 unit, semi-open, forested campground with a gravel boat launch and beautiful views over Francois Lake. There is lots of space at this site so it is good site for larger group gatherings. The access road is quite steep so may be prohibitive to some RV's/trailers. There are several species of fish available in Francois Lake for anglers. Please be sure to purchase a fishing licence and consult the BC Freshwater Fishing Regulations Synopsis for limits, special regulations and closures: https://www2.gov.bc.ca/assets/gov/sports-recreation-arts-and-culture/outdoor-recreation/fishing-and-hunting/freshwater-fishing/region_6_skeena.pdf Getting there: Near Southbank (Francois Lake), from Burns Lake take Hwy 35 and Colleymount Rd to the Northbank ferry terminal, cross Francois Lake on the ferry. When you get off the ferry, take the first left off Keefes Landing Road onto Uncha Lake Rd, travel east on Uncha Lake Rd for 2.3 km, then turn left on Indian Bay Road, and travel for ~1.0 km, access road is straight off the last corner on Indian Bay Road (eg. don't turn west/left at the corner).
