This 20 site campground and staging area is popular with motorized recreation users. The site and staging area is open year round and offers a gathering shelter, information kiosks and off load ramp. Getting there: Heading north from Campbell River turn right onto Elk Bay FSR just past Roberts Lake rest area. Travel for 4.5kms to the sign indicating Pye Mountain Recreation Site.
