This site may be free, but we couldn't confirm it. Check the official page before you go. Campground · Recreation Sites and Trails BC NOTICE: Beginning September 24, 2026, and continuing to approximately October 5, 2026, the Ministry of Forests will be conducting repairs and improvements on the access roads into Kappan Lake East and West Recreation Sites. The recreation sites will remain open, but visitors may experience minor delays while equipment are working on the roads during this time. This recreation site is situated along the eastern shore of Kappan Lake, and offers a nice view of Kappan Mountain to the southwest. This site is a popular fishing, boating, and camping destination. Getting there: From Anahim Lake, travel south on Kappan Mountain Road (the turnoff is just west of the Anahim Lake Airport). Travel 5 km to the intersection with the Beeftrail Main FSR. Continue straight onto the Kappan Mountain Road for another 4.3 km and turn right onto the access road. The access road is fairly rough and narrow, and a 4-wheel drive vehicle is recommended. Travel 1.7 km to the site. Official page: https://www.sitesandtrailsbc.ca/search/search-result.aspx?site=REC2983&type=Site Source: Recreation Sites and Trails BC.
