Dispersed camping area · USDA Forest Service · Kisatchie National Forest Visitors to Middle Fork's Bucktail Camp and Turkey Trot Camp should expect very primitive camping. Both camps are designated hunter's camps which means they are only maintained during hunting season. They are, however, open year-around and can be used by all visitors.
