The campground is rustic, with older facilities. The campground is a great base for those wishing to visit the Strawberry Mountain Wilderness , hike, hunt or just explore. Wildlife viewing is excellent at Crescent campground from small creatures such as chipmunks and squirrels to larger animals such as deer coming to the creek to drink. Many varieties of birds are seen in the area as well as beautiful wildflowers during late spring and early summer.
