Season: April to November Reservations: All sites are non-reservable and operate under a first come, first served basis. With a convenient location just off State Route 92 this campground is great for families and outdoor enthusiasts. Two Lick Trailhead is located within the campground and providing easy and accessible access. Also each campsite is furnished with a fire ring, picnic table, and lantern ring. Getting there: From Marlinton take US Route 39 south east for 12 miles. Turn right (south) on State Route 92. Proceed two miles to Pocahontas Campground. Rules: - Maximum length of stay is 14 days. - Check-out time is 2:00 p.m. - Dogs are only permitted if on a leash.
